The International Office coordinates the implementation of the Council strategy together with the Executive Directors of each country Windle and oversees areas in common such as policy and standards, the distribution of grants and provides support in fundraising, communications, advocacy, and more. It includes the CEO of Windle International. 

Dr Marangu Njogu, Chief Executive Officer

Marangu is the CEO of Windle International, providing strategic leadership and bringing together the international and regional strategies for Windle. Marangu has three honorary doctorate degrees from the Guelph University, University of British Columbia and York University. An internationally-recognised leader in the development of refugee education whose work over almost three decades has transformed the lives of hundreds of thousands of African refugees. 

Robin Shawyer, Special Envoy

Robin Shawyer has been involved with Windle from its beginning, and has been instrumental in forming Windle into the exceptional organisation it has now become. Robin continues to support Windle through his role as Special Envoy.

Florence Natana, Administrator

Florence manages all aspects of administration for the International Office. She brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously held senior positions in the humanitarian and public sectors, both in the UK and South Sudan. 

Katherine Darling, Communications & Advocacy Officer

Kat manages the Communications and Advocacy for the International Office and supports the Windle members in their activity where needed. Her experience spans the Higher Education, Charity and Broadcast sectors. 

Élise Lindron, Fundraising Manager

Élise manages the donor prospection and retention for the International Office and supports the Windle members' fundraising activities. She has an international background in individual giving, corporate partnerships and sustainability.
