Windle International Somalia recently concluded a Training of Trainers (ToT) for the Mobile Training Unit (MTU) Green Skills Programme in Garowe, equipping trainers to deliver practical, market-relevant skills in renewable energy, circular economy, and sustainable agriculture.
Powered by solar energy and equipped for hands-on learning, the Mobile Training Unit will bring training opportunities directly to underserved communities, helping bridge gaps in access to skills development while supporting sustainable livelihoods and local economic growth.
The programme will reach communities in Rako and Dhaxan (Bari), Hingalool and Buraan (Sanaag), Qarxis (Nugaal), and Cagaran (Mudug).
By bringing skills closer to the people who need them, we are investing in greener livelihoods, stronger communities, and a more sustainable future.
