Some partnerships are built on history. The strongest ones build the future.
What began as a conversation about Windle International’s 50-year journey and the special place of The University of Nairobi in our history has continued to grow into something even more meaningful.
Following our recent engagement with the University, we have been exploring an addendum to our existing MoU, with a particular focus on creating opportunities for collaboration in research.
Today, we were pleased to welcome a delegation from the University of Nairobi to the Windle International Kenya & Somalia office in Lavington for a very engaging discussion on potential areas of joint research, knowledge generation and opportunities to mobilise funding to support this work.
A fruitful meeting reminding us that meaningful partnerships evolve and move beyond what institutions have done together in the past to asking: What can we build together next?
For Windle International Kenya, this is an exciting step in strengthening a longstanding partnership with an institution that has been part of our story from the very beginning.
As we reflect on 50 years of impact, we are particularly excited about the possibilities that lie ahead, not only in expanding educational opportunities, but also in generating evidence, knowledge and research that can contribute to better outcomes for refugees and other displaced and underserved communities.
From where the Windle International Kenya story began, to what we can create together next.
