International Women’s Day 2026 - Windle International Somalia

This year’s International Women’s Day in Jubaland, Somalia felt like a celebration of possibility. The 2026 theme, Give to Gain, was highlighted at the IWD Exhibition fair.

Female entrepreneurs gathered with government leaders, private sector partners, and financial institutions to showcase a wide range of ventures, from landscaping and beauty services to farming and green enterprises. Many of them are part of the EU‑funded e‑WINS Project. The e‑WINS Project, implemented by Windle International Somalia in conjunction with the Ministry of Women and Family Affairs and Human Rights, continues to open doors for women across Jubaland by offering skills, networks, and access to the resources they need to grow.
